Kansas Troubles

I thought I better show you that I'm really doing Brackman's Civil War quilt along. Here's #5, Kansas Troubles.

And #3 Seven Sisters. Thankfully we had an applique block to give me a chance to keep up.

I'll try to get the others posted yet this week. Some of them are undergoing reconstructive surgery. ;)

Have a great week!

Your blocks are great. I used the same background that is in your seven sisters block in one of mine-love it. The sisters look great, but in this day and age, I guess a little plastic surgery is commonplace! I may have to force myself to do that one once my applique antipathy subsides!

I was away the week of the seven sisters and am working on that this week. Really like your fabric choice...

Your blocks look great! I would say these patterns are quite challenging. I hope to finish my first 4 blocks soon.

The blocks look great and your stars are beautifully appliqued on those pointy bits.

Nice fabric choices. Do you have a plan or just picking fabrics each week?
