Winner and an Update

First of all, if you remember, I had a giveaway a while ago, and I've drawn a winner.  It's Heather from Creative Confessions.  Heather, I'll get that out to you as soon as you send me your address.

Secondly, I apologize for disappearing.  I have had a flareup of my chronic illness, and have been in bed for almost 6 weeks now!  It looks like I will need surgery, but hopefully I can get a couple of posts up first.  I will put up more about my TESAA trip, and I also am working on a post for my other blog that I think you'll like.  It's about a fabric line that's not very well know, and I even have a link to a store that still has some of it!  I couldn't post without a picture, so above is a pic of some DAR fabric I bought when I was in Williamsburg.  It's one of my favorites.

Take care, and I hope to see you soon.  I have a lot of blog reading to get caught up on.  ;)

Hi Lisa, I hope you are feeling okay and surgery (if you had to have it) went well. Get better soon! I know you were disappointed you didn't get to see Baltimore Album quilts when you were heading to Williamsburg. I wanted to make sure you were aware that the DAR has the Mary Simon and Mary Mannakee quilts on display in their gallery right now. I think they are up all summer but I would check first. They are in glass cases but you can get very close and spend loads of time inspecting them. I've been to see them twice and will go back again. Who knows if we'll ever get a chance to see them again!
